It is reported from the organizers of Harbin Ice and Snow Festival the Ice and Snow World is stepping up its construction. More than half of the ice sculptures and buildings have been completed, and it is aimed to have a trial open on Dec. 22, 2014.
This year, the Ice and Snow World Park not only integrates the "non-ice" facilities into the ice and snow, but also adds the northeast China’s flavor to its ice and snow landscapes
The park will cover an area of 800,000 square meters, with 180,000 cubic meters of ice and 150,000 cubic meters of snow, consists of 58 scenic areas.
