World Ski Day & International Children Skiing Festival Will Hold in Yabuli


The winter vacation is around the corner and in order to enrich young people's vacation life and cultivate their skiing interest and skiing skills, the Yabuli Sunshine Ski Resort will hold "Let's Fly! Boys and Girls" series of activities during the "World Ski Day" & "International Children Skiing Festival"  on January 18, 2015. On that day, people under age of 14 can enjoy free skiing, and use the ski tools without payment in the ski resort. 

The Yabuli Sunshine Ski Resort is a 5S level ski resort in China. It is located in Shangzhi City, Harbin, Heilongjiang province, about 190 km from Harbin. The resort has 17 different levels of ski pistes in a total length of 31,075 meters. There are 450,000 square meters ski area, of which, the senior pistes account for 43%, while the intermediate pistes occupy 36%, and the primary pistes is 21%. 

On January 18, the opening day, people under 14  with a "Xin News" (a local paper in Harbin) and their ID card or other valid documents in hands can enjoy skiing without payment. (Note: the free items include snowshoeing, snowboarding, ski pole, cable cars and magic carpet; other items can be rented.)

The "World Ski Day" is an event created by the International Ski Federation, focusing on popularizing skiing to the world's youth. In this year, the "World Ski Day" will first introduce the concept of the "International Children Skiing Festival", meanwhile, the activity will be held simultaneously in 33 countries and regions, including China, Canada, USA, France, Italy, and so on. 15 China's ski resorts will participate in this great event, including Yabuli Sunshine Ski Resort.
