Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley


The Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley is the youngest theme park of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. The park was initially open to the public on January 5, 2011. Since then it is annually open in the same day and lasts about two months on the Songhua River. Its venue usually stretches from the river surface near the Flood Control Monument (Fang Hong Ji Nian Ta) to the the river surface near Tongjiang Street (Tongjiang Jie).

The Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley puts sightseeing, entertainment and interesting activities into a large comprehensive park in a professional way. The local visitors usually don't need to pay the entrance fee if they show their ID card. Apart from tasting all kinds of snack foods, watching ice sculptures, snow sculptures and cultural performance, visitors can enjoy many interesting ice and snow activities, such as spinning top, ice bicycle, skating, tire sliding, rock-climbing, ice karting, dog-sledging, curling stone, ice bumper cars, Counter Strike Cosplay, snow football, and so on.
