Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer, People's Park, Sichuan Opera
Arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, where you are met and transfer to your hotel for a short rest. Then pay a visit to People's Park to experience the most authentic Chengdu local life. Having a cup of tea in a traditional teahouse, watching the local old couples dancing, joining in the locals to play mahjongg or cards in a teahouse.
This evening go to Shufeng Yayun Sichuan Opera House to enjoy authentic Sichuan Opera. The opera show combining with comedy show, puppet show, hand shadow, music instruments mimic horse and people conversation, and the face (mask) changing show with fire spitting, very interesting.
Activities for today: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Sanxingdui Museum
Begin your trip with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to witness the daily life of the giant pandas.
Drive to Sanxingdui Museum, the relics of a ruined city with a history of over 3,000 years. Numerous exquisite objects of bronze wares, jade wares, stone wares, bone wares, gold wares and other articles are unearthed from this site, which evident the highly developed civilization of the ancient Shu Kingdom, and verify that Chinese culture as an entity came from diverse sources.
Activities for today: Sichuan Museum, Wuhou Temple, Jinli Old Street
After breakfast, pay a visit to Sichuan Museum, where you can have a good overview of the region's history and traditional culture by way of various themed rooms and thousands relics, like amazing pottery, shadow puppets and carved horns.
Then proceed to visit Wuhou Temple, a shrine integrated with tombs of Liubei and Zhuge Liang. Surrounded by old cypresses and classical red walls, the temple creates an atmosphere of nostalgia. Stepping into the temple, you'll immerse yourself into the atmosphere of ancient culture and history.
In the afternoon, move on to Jinli Old Street, one of the oldest streets to enjoy the local snacks and traditional artifacts. For photographers, visit here in the evening will be the best time to get better photos with all the red lanterns lit up in the dusk.

Activities for today: Wenshu Temple, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, airport transfer
This morning, you will visit Wenshu Temple, an ancient monastery known for its cultural relics, exquisite garden and solemn halls. In the temple, you can see the local prayers burning incense and worshiping.
Later, go to see the Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the former residence of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu (712 -770 AD), now a park and museum in honour of him. Du Fu is a realist poet and extolled as the Sage of Poetry. Along with Li Bai (Li Bo), he is frequently called the greatest of the Chinese poets.
After sightseeing, a transfer is included to take you to the airport for your homebound flight.
