DAY 1 Beijing

Transfer via: flight - your arrangement

Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer

Driver Service: Upon your arrival at Beijing, our driver will hold a sign of our logo "ICE FESTIVAL HARBIN + your name" to meet you at the arrival hall of the airport.

DAY 2 Beijing

Activities for today: Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City

Tour Guide & Driver Service: Today you will discover all of Beijing's Imperial treasures. The Temple of Heaven, a great historical site in Beijing, where you can witness the local people's interesting morning life.

Move on to visit Tiananmen Square - one of the largest and grandest public plazas in the world. Then enter within the imposing walls of the Forbidden City for an extensive tour through this vast complex of palaces, pavilions and courtyards as your engaging guide illuminates the dramatic history of the emperor who once resided here.

DAY 3 Beijing

Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Cloisonné Factory, Beijing Hutong

Tour Guide & Driver Service: Today's excursion takes us to the beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall (cable car or toboggan are optional). In the afternoon, return the city and have a Hutongs tour by a 3-wheel rickshaw and then visit a local family living in a Siheyuan (Chinese quadrangles) in the Hutong to see the local Beijing People's lifestyle.

DAY 4 Beijing/Harbin

Transfer via: domestic plane for economy class - our arrangement

Activities for today: Airport transfer, Ice Lantern Art Fair at Zhaolin Park

Morning you are escorted to the airport for the flight to Harbin. Upon arrival, you are picked up to the hotel for a short rest. After dinner, drive to Zhaolin Park, where the magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made the place an icy fairyland.

DAY 5 Harbin

Activities for today: Central Street, St. Sofia Church, Stalin Park, Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo, Siberian Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World

Tour Guide & Driver Service: After hotel breakfast, drive to visit the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East - St. Sofia Church. Then have a walk on the Central Street. On the streets, you can find some facts about Harbin's history and culture. And then enter the Stalin Park. The park stands as evidence of the friendship between the world’s two most powerful communist countries at that time. At the center of Stalin Park stands the Flood Control Monument built to commemorate the tremendous feat of the Harbin people in controlling the massive flood of 1957.

Afternoon drive to see snow sculptrues at the Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo, then continue to the Siberian Tiger Park, where you will be caged in a specially protected bus to see the tigers and lions. Late afternoon, move on to the Ice and Snow World - the magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made this theme park an icy fairyland, you will find many interesting things to do in the park.

DAY 6 Harbin/Xi'an

Activities for today: airport transfer

Harbin Driver Service: Harbin Driver Service: Be free until you are escorted to the airport for the flight to Xi'an.

Xi'an Driver Service: Upon your arrival at Xianyang International Airport, your Chinese speaking driver will hold a sign of our logo "ICE FESTIVAL HARBIN + your name" to meet you at the arrival hall of the airport.

DAY 7 Xi'an

Transfer via: private vehicle

Activities for today: Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an Museum

Tour Guide & Driver Service: After breakfast, pay a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum (eco-bus is optional, RMB 5/pp). It is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20th century; an army of terracotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at Emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago. Afternoon, transfer to visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Park (tower climbing is optional, RMB 30/pp) and Xi'an Museum .

DAY 8 Xi'an/Shanghai

Transfer via: domestic plane for economy class - our arrangement

Activities for today: Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Ancient City Wall, airport transfer

Xi'an Tour Guide & Driver Service:
Morning drive to visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, one impressive museum housing more than 370,000 pieces of historical relics. Next, move on visit the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China (bicycle is optional). In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai.

Shanghai Driver Service: Upon your arrival at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, your Chinese speaking guide will hold a sign of our logo "ICE FESTIVAL HARBIN + your name" to meet you at the arrival hall of the airport.

DAY 9 Shanghai

Activities for today: Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Nanjing Road, The Bund

Tour Guide & Driver Service:
Morning enjoy a tour of the Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Afternoon, walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River to visit the most bustling shopping street in Shanghai - Nanjing Road.

DAY 10 Shanghai

Transfer via: private vehicle

Activities for today: Zhujiajiao Water Town, Xintiandi

Tour Guide & Driver Service:
Today make an excursion to Zhujiajiao Water Town to experience the local Yangtze Delta people’s lifestyle. Highlights include a traditional sampan ride on the canals with about 20 minutes and at least four highlighted spots: Kezhi Garden, Tongtianhe Medicine Shop, Qing Dynasty Post Office and Yuanjin Meditation Room.

Afternoon return Shanghai city area to visit Xintiandi - a fashionable pedestrian street composed of old-style Shikumen residences and modern architecture.

DAY 11 Shanghai/Exit

Transfer via: flight - your arrangement

Activities for today: Hotel to airport transfer

Driver Service: Today, our driver will escort you to the airport for your homebound flight.

The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

For carry-on luggage: each economy class passenger is allowed one piece of 5kg / 11 lbs. The size limit for each piece is 20 x 40 x 55cm or 7.8 x 15.7 x 21.6 inches.
