China Eastern Railway Bridge

Harbin's Songhua River Railway Bridge, also known as China Eastern Railway Bridge, was the first bridge in Harbin to span the Songhua River. With a total length of 1015.15 meters, it was initially constructed in 1900, underwent maintenance in 1962, and eventually ceased operations in 2014. The bridge bore witness to the inauguration of the "Middle East Railway" and the swift transformation of Harbin from a modest fishing village into a cultural, economic, and trade hub in the Far East.

Not only did this bridge observe Harbin's historical transitions during the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China, the Japanese occupation, and the establishment of the People's Republic of China, but it was also repurposed into the Middle East Railway Museum and a picturesque pedestrian bridge in 2016, solidifying its status as the renowned "internet-famous bridge" in Harbin.
