During this tour, you will visit three renowned ancient water towns in southern China: Tongli, Wuzhen, and Nanxun. Please note that accommodation in Shanghai is not included. The tour will commence at your Shanghai hotel and conclude at the same location.

Activities for today: Tongli Water Town
At 9:00 AM, our guide will greet you at your Shanghai hotel, and then we will embark on a 1.5-hour drive to Tongli.
Tongli, situated in Suzhou city of Jiangsu province, is renowned for its rivers, narrow lanes, ancient bridges, and traditional house complexes. While in the town, you will enjoy a boat ride along the ancient canal and observe the cormorants fishing.

Activities for today: Wuzhen Water Town
After your hotel breakfast, we will embark on a 2-hour drive to Wuzhen. Upon arrival, you will take a leisurely stroll through Dongzha to experience the charm of Wuzhen. Around 5:00 PM, we will proceed to visit Xizha. The evening will be free for you to enjoy the enchanting night views of the town.
Wuzhen is located in the northern part of Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province. With a history spanning over 1000 years, it has always been known for its fertile land abundant in rice, fish, and silk. The town has preserved its ancient appearance remarkably well, exuding the unique charm of a water town. Its quaint houses, constructed with black bricks and gray tiles, stand out against the white walls, resembling a Chinese ink painting. Stone bridges dot the landscape, and small boats with black awnings gently float along the murmuring rivers. Whether you wander along the riverside or stroll through the lanes paved with blue flagstones, you will be captivated by the picturesque scenery and unhurried pace of life.

Activities for today: Nanxun Water Town
In the morning, we will drive for about 1 hour to Nanxun Water Town. You will leisurely explore the town for photography opportunities alongside your guide. We will depart for Shanghai at 4:30 PM and anticipate arriving around 7:00 PM.
Nanxun is situated in Huzhou City in northern Zhejiang Province. It is renowned as the "Land of Fish and Rice" and a hub for silk trade. The town boasts a plethora of well-preserved ancient houses, gardens, and other historical structures, including notable sites like the renowned Little Lotus Garden, the esteemed private library Jia Ye Tang, the Ming Dynasty's One-Hundred Residential Houses, and the former residence of Zhang Shiming along the Yangtze River. Bridges arching over gently flowing rivers, white walls, and swaying green willows create an authentic and captivating landscape. The seamless blend of cultural heritage with natural beauty, as well as the fusion of traditional Chinese architecture with Western influences, adds to the town's allure.
