Your tour will star from the remarkable Tiananmen Square, which is big enough to hold half a million people. As the site of several key events in Chinese history, it has iconic significance as a cultural symbol.Then walk across the Golden Water Bridge to explore the Forbidden City - it was the Chinese imperial palace during the mid-Ming and the Qing Dynasties. It is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
In the afternoon, you will get to Jingshan Park, which is a beautiful royal landscape garden. From top of the hill inside this park, you can get a full view of the Forbidden City. Next you will visit the royal Summer Palace to appreciate its amazing landscape and delicate architecture.

Activities for today: Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Beijing Hutong, 798 Art Zone
Visit the Temple of Heaven, which was initially built for the annual ceremonies by the emperors to pray to the god of Heaven for good harvest. Then we will proceed to the Lama Temple, the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in Beijing. Have a Hutong tour with rickshaw in the afternoon. The last destination is the 798 Art Zone, an exhibition center of Chinese culture and art, and also the world- famous cultural and creative industries centralized area.

Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Sacred Way, Beijing Olympic Park
Drive about 1.5 hours to visit Mutianyu Great Wall (cable car and toboggan are optional). As one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu is less crowded but equally attractive. Then move on to have a walk along the solemn Sacred Way (aka Spirit Way). The same walk that was taken by the imperial families when visiting their ancestors' tombs.This serene walk along a marble path flanked by Ancient marble statues and elegant willows is an unexpected highlight. On the way back to the city, make a stopover at Beijing Olympic Park (namely Beijing Olympic Green). You could see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from a distance and take some photos (not enter the venues).
At the end of the tour, transfer you back to your hotel.
