Activities for today: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven
Start the day with a visit to the world's largest public square - Tiananmen Square. Next, a guided Forbidden City explains the imperial palace's history,culture and stories. You will see a series of courtyards, huge palaces designed and built for the ancient royal family. Then move on to the nearby Jingshan Park. Once you are on the hill top in the park, you will have a spectacular view of the Forbidden City with its sparkling rooftops reflecting the sunlight and also the faraway mountain if in a clear day. At Jingshan Park, you may find elderly folks dancing, singing opera and doing other cultural activities, such as Kuaiban.
The last stop for today is Temple of Heaven, which was the place the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties holding the sacrificial ceremony. Our guide will accompany you enjoy the stunning structure and tell you the interesting history. You could also spend time meandering through the groups of local people doing Tai Chi, dancing, doing excises, or watch a game of mahjong, or just enjoy the serenity.

Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Sacred Way, Beijing Olympic Park
Today make an excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall. This famous section of the Great Wall has been nicely restored to show its original grandeur. And it is less crowded, which allows you to snap many beautiful pictures. You will walk (cable car is optional) up to the wall and then hike up to the top tower. The views are very much worth it. We will walk down the Great Wall (You can choose to take toboggan or cable car down the wall).
In the afternoon, you will visit the Sacred Way, which is the approach to the Ming Tombs (not visit the tombs). It is also called Divine Road, means the road leading to the heaven. You will walk along the road lined with statues of animals and officials and also get through the great arches. Later, we will drive back to your hotel. En route, we will stopover at Beijing Olympic Park to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube (not enter the venues)

Activities for today: Beijing Zoo, Summer Palace, Hutong
This morning, your guide will take you to the panda house in Beijing Zoo to see the lovely pandas. After that you will turn to the beautiful Summer Palace. It was the summer resort for the ancient royal families, now it is a huge and distinctive park. Then we will proceed to have a Hutong tour. Hutongs are narrow alleys lined with residential courtyards. It is one of the features of Beijing. Most of them are several hundred years old. You will take a rickshaw riding around the old narrow hutongs and feel the old ambience of Beijing.

Activities for today: Beihai Park, Lama Temple, Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum

Guided tour of Beihai Park - a former imperial garden located in the northwestern part of the Forbidden City. First built in the 11th century, it is among the largest of all Chinese gardens and contains numerous historically important structures, palaces, and temples.
With the help of your guide, you will visit Lama Temple (Yonghe Lamasery). With more than 300 years history, it has colorful, 17th-century architecture and is an active Tibetan Buddhist center.
You will also visit the neighboring Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum. They were built at the beginning of the 14th century. The former is the second largest Confucian Temple in China.The officials used it to pay their respects to Confucius until 1911. The latter was the institute of the highest education. It is also the place where the emperors used to deliver lectures.
