Activities for today: Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Zhonghua Gate, Confucius Temple, Qinhuai River
After breakfast, we will leave for an excellent sightseeing tour of Nanjing's most iconic sites starting with a visit to the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum; further we will visit the Zhonghua Gate, and a stop at Confucius Temple, which was originally built in the year of 1034 in the Song Dynasty, the temple is a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, a great philosopher and educator of ancient China. We will visit the famous Qinhuai River before returning to your hotel. This river remembers the long history of the town and it is inseparable part of all that is happening in Nanjing. Its bank was very popular during the Qing and Ming Dynasties due to the red lantern alley that was placed there.

Morning drive to visit the Presidential Palace (It is now a museum called the China Modern History Museum), where housed the Office of the President of the Republic of China before the republic relocated to Taiwan in 1949. It is now a museum, the China Modern History Museum. Then proceed to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. The hall was dedicated to the victims of the appalling Nanjing Massacre committed by the Japanese army during World War Two. The suppressed historical sorrow displayed and the somber atmosphere reflected always evokes passionate feelings of "no more wars" among its visitors.
After sightseeing, drop off at the airport.
