Sponsored by the China Hotel Association and the Harbin Municipal Government, and organized by the Convention and Exhibition Department of China Hotel Association and Harbin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the first China (Harbin) Ice and Snow Gourmet Festival is to be held in Harbin from February 14th to 28th.
Pioneering the concept of "Ice and Snow Food, Winter Health, and Winter Olympics Standards", the first China (Harbin) Ice and Snow Gourmet Festival is the first domestic food and beverage festival with the theme of "Ice and Snow Food". Themed at "appreciating ice, snow while enjoying delicious food", this even aims to build a city of ice, snow and food, with the main line of prospering the market, promoting consumption and stimulating domestic demand by taking advantage of the exhibition platform on promoting consumption, so as to boost the development of ice and snow tourism and ice and snow gourmet specialty industries in Harbin.
The main venue of this Gourmet Festival is located in the West Red Square, and the sub-venues are located in the Chinese Baroque block and the large commercial complex in the main urban area. There will be five major events with more than 10 small events in the main venue, including Ice Snow Food and Dishes Exhibition, Harbin Green Food and Enterprise Food Exhibition, Summit Forum of Ice and Snow Gourmet Festival, Ice Snow Gourmet Cooking Invitational Competition, and the launching ceremony of "Taste of Time-honored Brands · Enjoy of Ice and Snow Gourmet Festival" and "Longjiang Consumption Season". It will hold the activities in the Chinese Baroque sub-venue at the same time, including the time-honored brand exhibition, special snack exhibition, folk intangible cultural heritage exhibition, catering promotion, free tasting and lucky draw and so on, hoping to deeply explore and promote the unique ice and snow cultural catering and tourism resources of Daowai District, further carry forward the traditional food culture and folk culture of Harbin, and promote the upgrade of ice and snow catering tourism and cultural tourism. Catering promotions will also be carried out simultaneously in other sub-venues.
