The 2024 Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival officially opened to visitors at 09:30 am on December 22, 2023.
Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival is an ice and snow amusement park on the surface of the frozen Songhua River, with "play" as its core theme. The first Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival opened in December 2018 and has been successfully held for 5 times.
This year, the Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carniva features the theme of "Happy Ice and Snow · Chasing Dreams in Asian Winter Games". Starting from the Harbin Railway Bridge in the east and ending at the Songhua River Cableway in the west, the park covers a total area of 1.4 million square meters and innovatively creates some special landscapes such as Urban Glory, Diamond Sea, and the Heart of Ice Crystal.
In the park, not only are there joyful snow slides and exciting super ice slides that are the preferred choice for playing with snow, but there are also "crazy octopus fish" racing on the ice, snow tubes, snowmobiles, ATVs, as well as many free facilities for children, such as snow slides, ice tops, and snow swings. There are over 40 interactive ice and snow facilities in total, allowing tourists to experience the charm of the Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival.
