In a bid to facilitate increased exchanges and bolster international ties, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has unveiled a unilateral visa-free policy for six countries. Effective from December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, this policy will apply to ordinary passport holders from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia.
Under this policy, individuals holding ordinary passports from these countries will be allowed visa-free entry into China for purposes such as business, tourism, visiting friends and relatives, or transiting for a duration not exceeding 15 days. However, those who do not meet the criteria for visa-free entry will still be required to obtain a visa before arriving in China.
This initiative aims to further encourage interactions between China and these nations while supporting high-quality development and enhancing China's openness to the world.
