Themed "Shared Dreams, Shared Hearts, Ice and Snow Legends," the 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo is set to have a trial opening on December 23, 2024.
Throughout the trial opening period, the Expo will be open from 9:00 to 17:00, with tickets priced at 128 yuan per person (reduced from the original price of 198 yuan per person).
The 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo will feature over 260 events and artistic snow sculptures spread across a planned area of 1.5 million square meters. The total snow consumption will reach 150,000 cubic meters, with the main snow sculptures requiring 35,000 cubic meters, surpassing previous records. The park has introduced a new "2+6" layout strategy, emphasizing the creation of 6 themed landscape areas and 2 additional zones for a snowman IP show and a snow fun study camp. A brand-new 240-meter-long slide has been added, complemented by Harbin snow sculpture relief walls to showcase the city's allure. Furthermore, the park integrates national elements deeply, showcasing traditional cultural essences like Paper Cuttings, calligraphy, guqin, blue and white porcelain, and Peking Opera facial makeup through snow sculpture art. This initiative aims to promote traditional Chinese culture and highlight the distinctive national style within the ice and snow environment.
