After experiencing several snowfalls, China's Snow Town in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, opened to visitors on November 17th, 2024. Subsequent to the town's opening, activities including red lantern shows (4,000 lanterns), float parades, large yangge dance performances, and snow disco will proceed every evening as scheduled.
According to staff at the Snow Town scenic area, in preparation for the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025, this year China's Snow Town has upgraded its nighttime brand projects in terms of content and experiential aspects. They have also constructed the whimsical Forest Treetop Walkway, Snow Source Avenue riverside commercial street, and established the "Bear Hill" (Gouxiong Ling) popular photo spot, aiming to provide visitors with a more enriching and enjoyable experience.
China's Snow Town will continue to offer heartwarming services to visitors, including free ginger tea drinks, complimentary luggage storage and shipping, among others. Additionally, staff members have been equipped with "Find Me if You Need Help" badges to promptly assist visitors facing difficulties or in need during their travels.
During this winter season, China's Snow Town will host national folk yangge dance performances, the China's Snow Town Snow Marathon Triathlon, a snow disco host competition, and a national short video contest. (5-day Harbin Winter Adventure Tour)
