As a theme park of the 2024 Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival (2024 Harbin Ice Festival), the 6th Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival (2024 Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival ) will revolve around the theme of "Happy Ice and Snow · Dragon Blessing Songhua River" to create a new window for ice and snow tourism in Heilongjiang province. It will feature the logo (with a dragon shape) of the Asian Winter Games and "glory" shape as the theme elements. Starting from Harbin Railway Bridge in the east and Songhua River Cableway in the west, the total area of the park is up to 1.4 million square meters, innovating to create some core landscapes such as urban "glory" and the heart of ice crystals. It will plan 9 functional areas in the south bank and the north bank of the Songhua River, including the core entertainment area, and launch over 40 ice and snow interactive activities, such as ice slides, snowtubes, ice tanks, ice dragon boats, ice karts, snowmobiles, ice bikes, ice carriages, dog/horse sleds, ice tops etc. The park is expected to open in the end of December of 2023.
