The 27th Harbin Ice and Snow World (2026), set to open this winter, will expand its area from 1 million to 1.2 million square meters. Among the new facilities are an enlarged ticketing hall, a snow hot spring camp, and a range of fresh experiences such as ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and snow football.
To enhance visitor experiences and service quality, the park will introduce a series of upgrades and new offerings:
- An expanded ticketing hall to speed up entry
- Additional parking and an entrance square for better visitor flow
- New activities including ice fishing and cross-country skiing, set in natural water areas
- An ice and snow stage, complementing the existing “Dream Stage” to diversify performances
- Snow football and snow rugby tournaments, open to enthusiasts nationwide
- A 5,000-square-meter air-supported dome for rest, dining, and warming up
- A snow hot spring hotel for unique winter accommodation
This season will also bring multidimensional innovations in ice architecture, entertainment projects, smart services, cross-sector collaborations, and live performances. All new highlights will be unveiled before the ice and snow season begins.
Once temperatures meet requirements, snowmaking and snow sculpture production will begin. Ice harvesting will also commence as soon as conditions allow, paving the way for the construction of the park’s iconic ice scenery.
